Our son’s wedding experience with the Butterfly Gardens was absolutely outstanding and we would recommend it to anyone else with enthusiasm.  Not only is the location beautiful (and it didn’t rain during the ceremony), but the background help that we received from the parish made it completely painless and stress-free for us.  I am thinking of the set-up and take-down, the Smart Serve, the use of the parish hall and kitchen, and the washer-uppers.  Because the wedding party was small, we could hold the actual ceremony on the deck overlooking the Grand River and we had the signing of the register in front of the ‘chapel’.  Letting down the sides of the tent when the evening became cool allowed us to celebrate into the evening. Thank you for providing such a beautiful venue for our son’s wedding

 It was pouring rain the day of our Donor Appreciation Event and that usually means moving everything inside. We really wanted to keep to our original plan to have the reception in the Butterfly Garden. Using the tent and portions of the walls, we were able to keep to our plan and we are glad we did!

 The view from the garden was beautiful. The flowers were blooming and yes, even with the rain, there were butterflies. Thank you to St. James the Apostle Church for allowing us to host our event in the Butterfly Garden. We hope to be back next year!
